Cédric Ryan Bos 

Freelance photographer from Groningen, The Netherlands. 

Ever since I owned a smartphone, I was the one taking the pictures. I have a penchant for visual arts and composition, I like putting things into the right perspective. But the real passion for photography arose when my mother moved to Ibiza. Needless to say, a great excuse to visit. The beautiful nature, the beaches, the artistic culture.. something began to itch. I had to capture this feeling in a perfect picture.

From that moment, I have been obsessed with finding these perfect pictures, capturing the moment, the memory. Photography became even more fun and challenging when I found out how hard it is to capture a person’s mood, their expression. And, how great the photo looks when you get it done.

I have worked with social media and photography for quite some time. More than two years ago, I decided to strengthen my skills by following a series of specializing masterclasses. Important fields of expertise that I have studied are Lightroom and Photoshop editing, composition, movement, and lighting. 

Furthermore, I am working as a photographer at Oqium, one of the trendiest brands in the Netherlands. Oquim focuses on sneakers and sportswear while collaborating with for example artists and professional football players. Here, I get the chance to learn even more about fashion photography from professional and internationally prominent photographers.

In my work, I am not focusing on one specific form of photography. My skills are widely deployable and I have a special affinity with portrait, travel, and fashion photography. Also, I love to do reports and I am developing my landscape and architecture photography skills.

I assure clients satisfactory results by providing a professional, dynamic, empathic, and relaxed environment during a shoot, and by making agreements on the final results beforehand. In this way, misunderstandings can be prevented.
